IBF and WBA heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua (19-0,19KO’s) will put both straps on the line when he squares off against Bulgaria’s Kubrat Pulev (25-1, 13KO’s) at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on October 28th. Joshua, from Watford, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom is coming off an exciting knockout victory over the great Wladimir Klitschko back in April. That fight, which took place at historic Wembley Stadium, drew over 90,000 fans for what turned out to be an old-fashioned heavyweight slugfest.
As for Pulev, the last time he stepped into the ring, he was able to pull out a unanimous decision victory over Kevin Johnson back in April. This will be a very important fight for both men. Joshua is hoping a victory against Pulev will get him face-to-face with Luis Ortiz, while Pulev knows a stunning upset will put him at the top of the heavyweight food chain.
